Carlo Sima has been with the firm since 1973 and became a partner/shareholder in 1980.

Real Property Practice – Experience in major real property transactions, including purchase and sale of commercial, industrial and residential properties; leasing of retail, commercial and industrial properties on behalf of both landlords and tenants; real estate financing including land acquisition loans, construction loans and permanent loans; real property security aspects of corporate financing involving multi-state security; represented major institutional lender in work out involving defaulted multi-million dollar commercial real property loan; preparation of partnership, joint venture agreements and limited liability company operating agreements for real estate development or ownership; tax deferred real property exchanges under IRS §1031; preparation and analysis of construction contracts; applications for building permits, coastal development permits, variances and lot line adjustments; preparation of real estate brokerage and management contracts.
 
Probate and Trust Practice – Experience in all aspects of probate and trust matters including the preparation of wills and trusts; probate administration of large and complex estates; administration of trusts; preparation of federal and state estate tax returns; audit of complex estate tax returns; preparation of charitable trust documentation and administration of charitable trusts and private charitable foundations.
