Practice Areas

Edzyl Magante is an associate in the areas of commercial litigation and labor and employment, including employment law advice and counseling. His experience before joining Parker, Milliken, Clark, O'Hara & Samuelian has encompassed representation of individual and corporate clients, both plaintiffs and defendants, in commercial and employment litigation.

Mr. Magante has litigated actions for breach of contract, breach of the Business and Professions Code, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, accounting, and conversion. He has also represented employees and employers in claims for wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, including whistleblower retaliation, and wage-and-hour violations. At Parker Milliken, Mr. Magante is broadening his scope through involvement in, among other things, First Amendment litigation, real estate litigation, and appellate practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Magante gained significant experience in international tax and business law practice from his employment at a Big-Four accounting firm’s Philippine office, where he was recognized as a Visionary for strong performance and communication skills. He previously clerked at the Supreme Court of the Philippines and taught conflict of laws and international economic law at top-tier Philippine law school Ateneo de Manila University School of Law.

He is admitted to practice before all state courts and all federal district courts in California.
